What is ole.miss womens basketball coach?

The Ole Miss women's basketball coach is Yolett McPhee-McCuin, also known as "Coach Yo". She was born on August 10, 1982, in the Bahamas and grew up in Freeport. Prior to becoming the head coach at Ole Miss, she coached at Jacksonville University and Bethune-Cookman University.

During her time as the head coach at Jacksonville University, she led the team to their first-ever NCAA tournament appearance in 2016-17 and was named the ASUN Coach of the Year in 2016 and 2017.

In 2018, McPhee-McCuin was named the head coach of Ole Miss women's basketball team. Since then, she has been working to revitalize the program, improving their record from 9-22 in her first year to a record of 7-5 for the 2020-21 season before the remainder of the season was canceled.

Off the court, McPhee-McCuin has been highly involved in community service and advocacy efforts, including social justice initiatives and promoting the importance of education.
